I don't know if this is the right section so please bare with me
The missus just got her mk6 GTi and must say it's very nice. However in the MFD the oil temp just displays --- even after driving for 2 hours constant.
My octavia vRS displays it and it's same year and same MFD as the golfs from what I see.
I've read some places need it turning on, some say it might be faulty sensor etc. I'm just wondering if anyone has had this problem and what was the answer to fix it
