No, there are no pre drilled holes.

I never thought to ask the dealer about plates so mine got drilled and screwed:sad:
Replaced the plates and used double sided tape for a much cleaner look.

Plate stuck straight on the bumper

The thing about the screws is if ever you want to fit a short plate the holes are then exposed

Every time I have had plates stuck on, they come off or start to flap as one or more of the pads loses adhesion (especially the front). Screwed is fine for me, always going to be a numberplate covering the holes in the bumper.

Although the tracker on the VW website is still showing mine as the order with the factory, I've just been on VW's live chat and they say that build is confirmed for week 50.
