Unfortunately hit something in the road and it damaged the lower front grill (missed the ADC sensor fortunately). To replace the lower grill I need to remove the whole front bumper, does anyone know if this affects the ADC sensor or can I just remove and refit the bumper with no issue?

Thanks

Simon

There should be no need unless they are useless

Unfortunately a pheasant hit my ACC sensor and grill so I had a nice bill

Will be fine, my bumper has been off recently for some bodywork and no mention of any problems.

Had to replace my lower grille after hitting a pheasant. Fortunately no damage to sensor so it was bumper off grille changed some bits are fiddly and get someone to give you a hand. Bumper back on. ACC working as it did before. Job done even by an incompetent day mechanic like myself.
