Eckles cakes do fit in the front cupholders btw

There're far to flakey to consider consuming in the car. They should remain in the packet until you are able to stop, get out of the car and stand outside to eat them. Not forgetting to do the brush down, foot stamp dance before getting back in.

Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Never, in the history of online car forums, has a thread wandered so far from the original topic! The OP, meanwhile, has got fed up and gone elsewhere. Maybe a nice piece of cake would have helped him/her feel better about the autohold and e brake.

I firmly believe there are few calamities that can't be tempered by a good slice of cake. Coffee and walnut or a proper Jamaican rum cake.

I have been laughing away the past couple of days reading all this cake talk, and then today I actually tried putting something in one of the drawers... I thought 'that first aid kit is quite small... It surely will fit'... Nope!

So cake drawer it is lol. Unlike watts, I am partial to a bit of Battenberg so that would be my cake of choice for the drawer

What about the parsnips people?!

You can fit loads of them in the drawers under seats!!! And when DPF regenerates they get roasted nicely, saves lots of time for the missus!

Good point itavaltalainen, I think you are getting to the 'root' of the issue...

Where's my coat gone?

Some of these people posting are right "fruitcakes"   I'm now wondering if you should store your cake in the glovebox because you can chill it - or would that dry it out.....................
