My guess would be clutch switch too. But wondering that a fault (if indeed detected) with it would not simply disengage auto hold and throw a warning.

Not too good.

However, to help put your mind at ease (a bit) but as the auto hold is still engaged, you should still have your brake lights lit.

The cat still shouldn't do it though.

Auto hold turns the brake lights on? Is that a new thing because on my CC it doesn't and the reason I know that is because the third brake light lights up the inside of the back window like its the red light district in Amsterdam(I've seen pictures)

Iv seen the actual lights  ( many times walking past ) lol :whistle: :whistle:

Yeah its actually quite an annoying feature and something I'd like to turn off via VCDS if possible.
I just think its so annoying when I'm sat behind a car and they keep their brake lights on while sitting at the traffic lights.
I always just flick the handbrake switch to get them to go off.

Drives me nuts and also huts my eyes.

Is this a MBQ thing then or what?

Look I can't help you with your obvious issues. By the way what was the view like  :whistle:
