I had a look at my new car at the dealers yesterday, and was quite happy to see they came will Pirelli's. After the dreadful experience with the Bridgestone's on my current GTD, I thought they can't be any worse, and when I had them on my Scirocco (previous to my current GTD), albeit they were 235/40/18 in self sealing variety, they lasted really well (got over 20k on them), and gripped superbly even in the wet, despite what everyone one else was saying about them at the time.
