Clubsport Black Roof or not?

I'm in two minds to add the black roof to a 3 door Carbon Grey Clubsport or not.

As its so dark, I am not 100% sure you would see the benefit of the extra £295 it is.

I'm adding the 90% tints which I havn't spec'd so far, but not sure on roof yet?

What do you think?

Personally I wouldn't because you could always wrap it later and then take it off when/if you get tired of it.

Personally I wouldn't because you could always wrap it later and then take it off when/if you get tired of it.
I think I would. Even though it won't contrast as well as say, white or red, it will still distinguish the car from a regular GTI in carbon grey.

I think it's one of those things that will be expected of a ClubSport on the second hand market.

Black roof for defo! But the 90% tints. I had similar i think on a MK6 gt from the factory what a nice car for looks but the dark tint was hellish for visibility during the day, worse at night! i always said you could leave a million quid on the back seat and nobody would know it was there.

I would definitely go for the 90% tint. Had it on my previous car but unfortunately I miss it on my GTI (was not an option when I got mine in 2014). It offers a lot more privacy but each to their own.

Regarding black roof I would wrap it I reckon it goes cheaper than the factory option.

Think you know my answer anyway but I would go for it on the basis that it is a Clubsport signature and also to differentiate it from a standard gti. The fact that it isn't as noticeable also means it will be recognisable to those who know what it really is.
