If you know anything about fans i could use your input .
Iv'e been askled fit a replacement slam panel complet with fan(s) to an 8v mk3 GTi.
Car is non aircon and currently has a single fan but owner has 2 slams ,1 with a single fan the other is the double run by belt to 2nd fan .
Owner plans to do some engine mods later hence the choice.
My problem is that fans to each slam are different.
The single has large blades but the double has more but thinner blades on the main fan plus the extra fan run by belt.
The second double one is off a 16v with aircon,single fan one is of a late 8 v without aircon.
My concern is that if i fit the double it will run too cool but then i'm guessing that the amount of blades and width of blades must also make difference .
Advice needed i guess !.
