No doubt evo1986 is so busy preparing for the Tiguan launch he hasn't had time to update the thread. Luckily I managed to get some additional info today:-

It looks like the pricing is cumulative with each additional spec level but no doubt that will all become clearer on the 5th.

R Line, part cloth part leather effect

Hope it's better than the plastic leather in the golf.

The German site has the Tiguan on its website now. Worth a look:

The last R-Line initially only had a different material combo to differentiate it (+ the R logo) and the Vienna leather was a £1650 option. In the run out period, leather had been included in the price.

Has anyone seen photos of the new wheel designs?

Have a look at the German configurator. Use Google Chrome to translate. However, those wheel designs might be different for the UK market!

I know that, the point I was making was they are now calling it leather effect. I think that is the first time I have ever seen VW call it that.

I've got a pdf emailed to me by my dealer a few little details on but i don't think i can link it here, it looks like the 20" Suzuka wheels will be the option wheels and the 19" Sebring will be standard on R line models.

20" Suzuka:

19" Sebring:

I personally would go for the 19's as my wife will be driving it most and shes terrified about scratching the wheels on my GTI!

Currently pootling around in our family wagen, a Tiguan SEL 😂

SEL 150 DSG 4Mo for me. I really wouldn't fancy 20" wheels and sports suspension. Or, I might just wait and see what the next Volvo XC60 is like.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

The 19” wheels look very similar to the current 19”option Mallory's.
TCR, Pure Grey, DCC, Dynaudio and Climate Screen.
