Front and rear disc sizes

Am I right in saying the front discs are 312mm and the rears are 286mm on a gti.

I'm looking at ebc ultimax discs, with ultimax pads, only looking at ebcs web site there's two different front pad sizes and two different rear pad sizes, very confusing as they are different sizes aswell, you would of thought all gtis had the same pads....?

Is it same sizes for all model years? I thought 2009 models came with bigger rear brakes....

I'm not sure if different years have different rears, pretty sure now my 2012 is 312 front and 286 rear but the choice of pad sizes is confusing even europarts and gsf list different pads aswell as ebc, think a phone call to ebc my be needed
