Yes I will be polishing by hand Rebecca. All spent up on detailing products at the moment but may well invest in a DA very shortly when funds allow

I drove my car home completely unwashed and covered in stickers.
I have noticed a paint blemish near the petrol cap that is being looked at tomorrow by my dealer. Hopefully it can be sorted, if not I will have a few decisions to make.

That's probably the only downside about not having the dealer prepare the car.
Especially if folk are taking it away with the protective sheets on or the car is filthy.
Once you take it away some dealers might try and claim it happened after it left the dealership.
A power wash should at least make it clean enough to inspect it without causing any damage.

But as said, that will sort no problem. Although I personally wouldn't allow the valeters to sort it. They'll just buff over it and cause all sorts of other problems that will be highlighted in the sun.   I've been there  Looks great at the time.
