Hi guys. I recently purchased a 1.6SE that has faulty gearbox. My question is can any gearbox from the same car fit the car or do I need to purchase the same gearbox with the same engine code? Eg a 1.8gti gearbox into my 1.6SE?
The car is VW Golf X Reg 2000 1.6SE 8v
