How to syphon fuel/drain fuel tank?

As title. I filled her up with a full tank of diesel before the camblet snapped the next morning, I would like to drain it to save the cost of loss fuel.

I have got the seats up in the rear and I think its the fuel pump I can see.......What next, how would I pump it out/drain it?

Can you get it up in the air??

When I had my MK4 the guy I bought it off filled up with petrol on the day I bought it.

He got it onto a low loader and pulled off the fuel lines under the car to drain the tank

take the fuel pump out then buy a cheap hand pump takes ten mins to empty

or power up the fuel pump and put hose in container or better in the filler neck of another (near empty) diesel car.
