New Wheels...Same Location
« on: 27 February 2016, 15:26 »
So fitted my new wheels yesterday evening, had time this morning to give the car a clean.
It would of been rude of me not to drive out to my fav photo location and take a few pics.

PS 10 minutes after these pics were taken I Kerbed the front drivers wheels going thru McDs drive in, first time in years I Kerbed a wheel, straight to get fixed Monday morning, bit concerned they will get the same finish as original though :cry:

Im sure you could have cried.

For about 30 seconds and then I just accept it, if I wasn't as fussy I'd just leave it as it ain't too bad BUT I know next time I wash it I,l see it and it will frustrate the hell out of me

I think yours is one of the nicest red mk7 R's I've seen Cossieian and it's colour co-ordinated with the steelwork in the car park  :grin:

Sorry about the wheel; I'd be the same as you and have to get it repaired. At least it's less hassle to get repaired than a diamond cut alloy.
2020 Polo GTI Plus; Pure White, DSG (because they all are)
Gone but not forgotten;
2016 Polo GTI; Blue Silk
2011 mk6 Golf GTD; Carbon Grey
2007 mk5 Golf GT (2.0 170bhp TDI version); Deep Black Pearl
2002  mk4 Golf GTI (the 150 bhp diesel version); Deep Black Pearl

One word Ian.........WOW!

No, let's make it two..........STUNNING!

Absolutely worth your dogged pursuit of the Pretoria.  Somehow they look elevated on your car. Agree with SRGTD, quite possibly the best TR 7R around the forums.  :cool:

PS: I feel like I personally know that car park.  :grin:
