After reading this thread, I'm glad I ordered the rear view camera. I so very nearly didn't :grin:

I changed my order simply because I wanted to add Dynaudio and added the camera because it was cheap,
Very nearly gave it a miss as a few people on here said it was pointless due to having parking sensors already.

The parking sensors are bloody useless. The go into beeping frenzy already when you're still a mile from any obstacle.
I can park it closer without the beep beep beeeeep BEEEEPPPP >D

Can you not adjust them with VagCom?

You can adjust them using the menus on the radio. (The parking sensors - back to topic)
Diagonally parked in a parallel universe.
On Order: Mk8 R, Pure White, Reversing Camera, Harmon Kardon, Heated seats all round.
Gone: Mk7.5 R, 5dr, DSG, Deep Pearl Black, 18” Cadiz, Nav, Winter Pack, Keyless, Dynaudio and Reversing camera.
Gone: Mk7 R, 5dr, DSG, Limestone Grey, 19" Pretoria's, Nav Pro, DCC, Winter Pack, Keyless, Mobile Prep and Reversing Camera.
Gone: Mk6 GTD, 5dr, Manual, Tornado Red, 18" Vancouvers, RCD510 + Dynaudio, heated seats.

I have adjusted them to close. Beeps like the car thinks you're about to run over a group of ducklings..... at still over ten inches from making contact that is just absolute overkill.
