Yet another update this morning it's getting closer gone from 4wk to 10 days within 4 days 

Volkswagen order update: Your Golf order no has progressed to stage 5c of 7 (in transit: near the UK

Your order status has been updated. Your car is in the final stage of its journey to the UK. From this point it takes approximately 10 days for this model to reach your local Volkswagen Retailer.

Just had my "5B - shipping" text this morning

does this mean its sat at the port in Emden or its actually on a ship???

Just had my "5B - shipping" text this morning

does this mean its sat at the port in Emden or its actually on a ship???

It's joined the back of the queue at Emden I'm afraid! Mine sat there for 12 days earlier in the month but the backlog may have cleared a little since then.

If it helps, it took my GTI 3 weeks from arriving at Emden to getting to the dealers.
