It depends what options you have with that but that is an okay offer not a once in a lifetime though.
www.drivethedeal.com are doing that model for £24,798 but I think that includes the £1250 pcp contribution.
Whatever you do why don't you take out the finance and then pay it off within 14 days and that will get you another £1250 off the car.
Also if you or someone in your household has a VW you can get another £500 off.

Why buy?

Just lease it and had it back and get a new one every 2/3 yrs.

Try u choose or stable.

You'll save a easy £5000-6000 off a Golf R.
Ok, I won't be as cheap as a GTI but won't be too far off.
Worth considering ;)

WE are now onto our build week but no update on the tracker to say its being built. Did other people find it updated once they started the build?

I'm the same, this is my build week and no change. To be honest I'm not too bothered as my current GTD is equally as good as the new one.

Weirdly enough, the Polo Blue GT we ordered for the wife on the same day as my Golf got a build week of the same week as mine. Then on Sunday I received a text and a mail to say the car has gone from "build week confirmed" to "your vehicle has shipped". No intermediate steps at all. Looks like her Polo will thus turn up early May at the dealers.

Mine still says confirmed build week 11.4.16 hope mine jumps straight to in transit bit I ain't holding my breath lol  :whistle:

My dealership called me and informed me that my car is at Stage 10 - Confirmed BW19.
The online tracker is still stuck on awaiting scheduling! :( doesn't seem very accurate.
It was spot on when my GTI PP was ordered etc.
I was hoping it would fall into a MY17 build but I've missed out :(
