Just Got My Build Week!

My dealer emailed yesterday to say my car will be sat at Emden for another 2-3 weeks due to "shipping delays" (it's already been there for a week) but I got the 5c text this morning! I think I'll only believe it when I see her in the metal!

I got my 5c update this morning, would the expected 11/4 arrival at dealer date still be the expected schedule or could I expect it a bit earlier??

I was kinda hoping it would arrive early next week as I'm off work for a week, Sod's law it'll be ready to collect the Tuesday after...........................driving a Yaris at the mo and it's doing my head in

I would say you have little chance of getting it early next week but you never know, the early March rush has ended so you may get lucky.
Are you having it prepped by the dealer or taking it away untouched?

Yeah I'm resigned to not seeing it for any of the time I'm off work, I suppose I'll have a full 12 months tax on it when it comes instead of losing a month for the sake of a couple of days in March

I've got a pro detailer going in and prepping the car for me, the dealer has been quite helpful on that front which I didn't think would be the case.

Got a stage 6 arrived in the uk text this morning, VW say 10 days from this point but also got an email from the dealer this morning saying he's hopeful for next week delivery but the bank holidays may chuck a spanner in the works
