I always wanted the new registration but was hoping to pick car up as close to the beginning of March as possible.
I've been without a car since the middle of October so the new one can't arrive soon enough.

just had txt  from VW saying my car has  been built and is now in the transit stage
it says it can take up  too up to 4 weeks

Mines still showing build next week on the tracker - and no conflicting emails yet, so fingers crossed!

I'd have loved a pick up for March 1st, but that was never on. April1st looks more likely from here. Not too sure about picking up a new car on All Fools Day.  :undecided:

just had a chat with VW online to see which date I have been given as the order was only placed on Saturday past
here's the reply.... :whistle:

At the moment the vehicle has a provisional build week of week 15. That is the week
starting 11th April. Unless something changes this will be the build week. The website will update in a
few weeks to reflect this.

So the wait begins again....this will be my 3rd Mk7 Golf Gti x 2 and now a R  :wink:

another update from VW tracker  txt msg  car moved from stage 5 a to stage 5 b
approx. 3 weeks to pick up  so its gone from 4  to 3 weeks in  2 days  :smiley:

I did that first time round!

I used marine traffic as I knew the names of the ships that came into the Tyne as I see them everyday!!

Yeah its more out of curiosity. Its not even my car its my Mrs  :grin:
I was also watching those trains heading towards Emden stacked with cars. What an operation that is.
