Which parts for servicing mk4 1.8t
« on: 05 February 2016, 11:56 »
I have looked over http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=87370.0

Already changed the pollen filter.

Can someone provide links for:
Oil filter
Fuel Filter
Plugs
Anything else I need?

I'm currently using a universal air filter which will need replaced http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Universal-Car-Air-Filter-Induction-Kit-Sports-Car-Cone-Air-Filter-Chrome-Finish-/301230360246?hash=item4622ba86b6:g:x24AAOSw91NTsVft

Is it worth buying a standard airbox and getting an air filter or would it make more sense to get an aftermarket air filter? If so which one?

Car is Mk4 1.8t AGU mapped to 180 running a forge 008p.

Picked up a standard airbox at scrap and it had a filter inside, car is already much better. He said its best to use a non-oily one

Im struggling to find BKR7E spark plugs on that site, for the filter is it worth paying a few £5 more?

is it worth it ?

they wont list those plugs for your car but they fit and are a step colder than originals so with your car being mapped probably better for you and the pipercross filter was ok in 1 of my 1.8ts
