Hi Folks, as per topic I am trying to source a vag cable online. Are there any suppliers that anyone can recommend?

Well, was more thinking of the replicas and whether anyone has bought one somewhere that work.

Limited capabilities with the replicas and you won't get any support or free updates from Ross Tech. In some cases in can cause issues with the system modules

Ask yourself this - how much is your car worth and do you really want to skimp on something that could have an impact on it?

Replicas were fine on the older MK4 platform as they weren't fully CANBUS based systems and there was less to go wrong.  MK5 onwards etc are fully CANBUS based and therefore more complex

Yeh I wouldn't risk it with replicas

Best thing is to buy the real one or find someone who has the real one and they can help you out for a small charge
