« on: 21 January 2016, 18:27 »
got a powerflex lower engine mount insert out in today(yellow one)...the vibration i would say is quite abit when crawling forward or reversing sometimes at idle to when im on a slight hill...is this cos the mount is new and i need to bed it in? is it something that i will have to live with? i like how its improved wheel hop..my gearbox is dsg if that makes a difference ...

The vibration will get less and you will hardly notice it within a few weeks. I fitted one as sometimes third gear would be difficult to engage and the dealer even suggested it as a cure, it certainly worked, but like you I noticed it at first, particularly in reverse.

for dsg, as the engine vibrates more than a manual as you're not putting any throttle down when crawling, I would recommend the red Diesel torque mount insert, its much softer and more compliant but still will stop engine slop without giving you as much vibration
