Agree both the CS wheel options are a little marmite but I personally think the standard ones look great - I would like to see how much they would  cost aftermarket being under 8 kg and forged and being forged they will be stronger than lightweight cast wheels.

Thanks for the link Watts.

I am really surprised how much some of the parts are, especially the Cadiz wheels.

You can get secondhand ones from dealers with minor marks on ebay too. But new seems better value comparatively to me.

Put winters on last week and asked the guy if we could weigh the stock Belvedere as I thought 7.6kg sounded very optimistic but it's true ... That's seriously light-weight, let alone for a stock wheel, VW didn't cut any corners there...

Makes me want to stick with those wheels now for summer instead of buying an aftermarket set for track/summer tyres as I originally intended, can't possibly get even close to that lightness without spending silly money. Most light-weight aftermarket 18" are between 9kg-8kg.

Lovely wheel.  That it's very light as well is just a bonus

Cheers, quite a bit heavier but are a 19 which will account for part of extra weight.

9.6kg to be precise, of-course it's a 19" but still a whole 2kg heavier than the Belvedere, still can't believe VW treated us with such a great wheel in stock form...
