Build week 45 for mine - cannot wait, so hopefully a pre Xmas delivery. Did not get any top line discount but received an inflated Part Ex and a few bits thrown in for free so I reckon 5% in total.

Question to the few who have already got their cars with standard wheels - what tyres did it come with - the dreaded S001s?

I will be changing to PS4s too - they made such a difference to my standard GTI. PS4s and a pedal box and that's it for me in terms of mods.

Game over for me - left it too late. Bit annoying as I wasn't financially able to commit to the car when it was released, had I known how long it would take to arrive it may be a different story.

If anyone is interested, VW has a lot of orders in the system for cars that were never allocated to a
Customer. They won't be built, if you are in the same position as me you are looking for a cancelled order ex-demo car now. Both of which are pretty rare and priced to the RRP.

That's a real shame, I feel for you.  Have you checked with Lee (evo1986) on this forum - he is a manager with Inchape and he posts all the dealer updates on here (and he also does good deals for forum members)?  If there is a way of getting you a car I'm sure he'd be the man to speak to.  Send him a PM.
