So, I have a list of 17 unallocated cars. None of them quite right.

Looks like I will have to forego the bucket seats which I'm coming round to. But really struggling with having to go with tornado red...

Do you know if they have any silver ones 3 door?

Sadly not, but if they had you would of found yourself number 2 in the queue!! It's red, DBP or white white white for 3 doors.

The DBP has the seats but I know how hard it is to look after and I think you'll lose some of the black detail.

Interestingly there are no 3 doors with DSG. I have queried this.

Silver 5 door if you fancy?

There was a 3 door DSG with buckets at my dealer. Been sold this week I believe, but it did not fit your criteria as it was red.

Thanks! I've left it just a bit too late!

Maybe too late for buying new. Seen this one?

Yeah I saw it on autotrader but realistically I want a fairly basic spec at up to £30k. Leather, DSG, sunroof etc all adds a fair chunk.

Jeez these prices! Makes my 12% off list seem like I won the jackpot. Are people buying at these levels?

Great discount I could not get one from any of my local dealers or carwow, so did not take the plunge.

I was offered 11% off and would of jumped in at that price (about £29k) but the dealer can no longer get the right car. I'm not desperate enough to part with £37k!

That's a shame. Each dealer was able to offer discounts if they had wanted to, mine used a fleet budget. Whatever that means. I was between this and a GTI PP and with the model I wanted, I paid around 4K more for the CS. Whilst that is a fair chunk of change, after test driving one it is well worth the difference. IMHO.

My local dealer group had a zero discount order from head office.  And despite the fact that I had bought many cars from the group, including 4 in the last 4 years, they would not budge, despite pleas by my contact to head office.  I would have preferred to have bought locally, but their loss, order was placed elsewhere with a big discount.  I've got a provisional build week 49 and I'm really looking forward to getting it.

Build week 45 for mine - cannot wait, so hopefully a pre Xmas delivery. Did not get any top line discount but received an inflated Part Ex and a few bits thrown in for free so I reckon 5% in total.

Question to the few who have already got their cars with standard wheels - what tyres did it come with - the dreaded S001s?
