So I added the buckets to my order, as we are led to believe they are heated.

Also interesting MY17 Clubsports get "Easy Entry" buckets, which I guess means they also slide forward on the rail when you lift the recline lever like the standard seats.

Dave

Looking at this link from recaro, the seats are heated:

https://www.recaro-automotive.com/en/product-areas/original-equipment/products/vw-golf-vii-clubsport/vw-golf-vii-clubsport.html

I get the longitudinal, height and back tilt adjustment. What is the fourth feature: backrest adjustment ?

Just looked at these on the online finance calculator, seems the GFV is very low, plus the fact they don't come with discount makes the payments pretty high, can anyone who ordered please give me an idea of cost involved

As someone whos wasted away countless years of their life around racing I tend to calculate weekly grocery shop, clothes, miscellaneous entertainment and bar bills in Tyres.

So for me the cost is:

86 Sets of Tyres in total.

Monthly payment of 1.4 sets, based on a deposit of 7.6 sets.

Drop me a mail and I'll let you know the unit cost.

Having a GTI PP on order I fancied the red surround wheel caps from the Clubsport and ordered 4.
Got them today , for a Genuine VW part they are shockingly bad! cheap plastic full of scratches inside the packets. I sent them back! Hope the other trim parts are better made on the Clubsport.

This just came out: http://www.motormag.com.au/reviews/1605/volkswagen-golf-gti-clubsport-review/

Good news for anyone (like me) that ordered (or plans to order) one primarily for the sorted chassis and extra driver-involvement over its siblings

Just tried to rent a 'guaranteed' Clubsport via AVIS from Munich Airport next month and even though listed, they have to confirm availability within 3 days and just came back and said not available.
Annoyingly they don't say where it is available from for the specified dates either so had to resubmit and still waiting for the second response.

Volkswizard, you won't get one from Avis I'm afraid. I work for a rental company and they have just cancelled my order for the clubsport and told us that they have had too much intrest from private individuals so Rental companys aren't allowed to buy them. Back to my normal GTI with PP now!

I am confused by your message, can you clear up a few points?

When you say they have cancelled your order, is this an order to have them on a rental fleet? If it is, what has this got to with "your" I assume personal GTI PP?

Is the rental company your work for in Germany as my rental is in Germany as stated?

Did you not read the original post by phil1975 on 6/5/16 where he stated that Clubsports are already on the rental fleets?

The most confusing thing however is that I had an email from Avis today and after I changed my collection depot to a different one (and booked via Avis.de not Avis.co.uk) and I now have a confirmed rental for July and it's guaranteed to be a Clubsport.
