Latest news on Broadspeed.
Their dealer's allocation has all gone and apparently there wont be any more than the 1000 already allocated to dealers.
So another discount dead end!

I have found in the past that Broadspeed don't deliver on the prices advertised. I called them with cash in hand wanting to place an order and never heard back.

I think buckets are a must in this car, just as leather Koing seats were in the Mk4 .:R32.

Agreed, and I can back that up from when I was selling the two I had.

Konigs in Mk4 R32 were standard weren't they?

Yes they were.
Standard = Cloth Konig Bucket Seats
Optional Extra = Leather OR Half leather
The Golf R32 MK4 was rather special in that VW went externally to 3rd parties for most of its part.
H&R springs
Blestien shocks
Seabring exhaust system
Konig Seats
OZ / Ronal alloy wheels

2004 Volkswagen Golf R32

Sorry to be a know all but
Standard was vinyl/cloth i.e no leather at all (black/grey)
Options were full black leather and flannel grey alcantara leather.

I just hope the clubsport buckets don't jam against the sun visor when tilted or that the release lever comes off in your hand or that the stitching splits near the airbag or the base goes saggy or the bolsters wear prematurely.

I get what you say about Vw going externally but if you look at even a basic Golf all the parts you mention are bought in from 3rd party suppliers,  VW actually make very little themselves.

The clubsport buckets may hit the visors looking at photos, also looking at the gap between the front seat and rear access it's going to be tight for rear access. Probably due to the buckets not folding forwards a lot due to the bolsters.
I don't get why VW removed the ambient lighting as that's one of the nicest interior touches of the GTI.

How many sun visor mirrors did you go through, happened twice to me with passengers getting out of the back in a rush.

I went through zero sun visors as my last Golf R32 was one of the best MK4's in the UK and a bit of a rare find, it only had about 6-8k miles on it when I sold it with FVWSH, it was a 04 plate fully loaded standard example.
Also had the plate R32 WOB.
It's gone but not forgotten, got decent money for it considering most we selling for sub £10k at the time.

So I added the buckets to my order, as we are led to believe they are heated.

Also interesting MY17 Clubsports get "Easy Entry" buckets, which I guess means they also slide forward on the rail when you lift the recline lever like the standard seats.
