Looked at A class last week too, before buying Clubsport.

Only other option we considered.

You get a lot of kit for the money, not too sure on looks however.

What spec you considering?

I couldn't stretch to the A45 but would have liked the A250 AMG.

Dave

Like the looks of the A class especially the AMG but having sat in a few now, the claustrophobic nature of the interior and seemingly poor all round visibility left me feeling quite uncomfortable, the door sides are just so high that the windows feel half the size of the Golf.

Liked the seats and the cockpit in front of me too, except for the main feature of that bolt on media screen, which for me really spoils the aesthetics,

Never thought to get one based on cabin experience but apparently in most reviews you see the ride is exceptionally hard and again not something want to go back to in my old age, like relatively firm ride in sport but nice and cushioned in my day to day running around.

Reminds me of Atlas Grey.
Would be my choice if I was allowed to make one

Not sure what the Audi grey is called that saw at weekend, but it was a completely matte finish and was really lovely, maybe a special paint?

We looked long and hard at the A class too - test drove it 3 times in fact before ordering a GTI. We had exactly the same feelings as you - we loved the looks but really disliked being in it. It was dark and claustrophobic and incredibly unrefined at anything close to motorway speeds.

We're still drawn in by the looks so may even re-visit it in a few years once the Golf is up but looking forward to enjoying this for the time being!

I wonder when the Mrs will start talking to me again if I over-rule her on colour choice to the Grey?
Looks spot on.

Great find, Glad I went 3 Door Carbon now.

Would have had white but the black side stripe just did not do it for me. Graphics are ok on the Race Car, but Road car is another matter IMO.

In Carbon they are just subtle.

You'll hate mine then Dave,
Going to stick Norfolk Egg down the side in foot high lettering. Every little helps as they say

Love it!

Is that one of the original 220 Cup cars?

Which championship are you running it in this year?

In reality I'm not "allowed" to put the smallest LRWmotorsport sticker on it anywhere let alone my mate's company.
