Just ordered from my local dealer. 5 door.  Manual.  Carbon Gray. Black Roof. Bucket seats.  Car net. Wanted keyless as well but he said he couldn't select the option and that it must be standard.

Took the quote from car file from some one called Sarah Cox Cars LTD (website shows a dodgy used car dealer). They then matched the 8% off list and gave me superguard and tank of fuel. Well chuffed with this.

8% off Clubsport RRP??

Yep. Well 7.9 to be precise. You all have me doubting it now!   I have the order sheet and the description is the right car:
"Volkswagen Golf hatchback special edition 2.0 GTI Clubsport 40 5dr"

Oh and got the parking pack.

Either the brochure has errors in it or your dealer is wrong - parking pack is not available and keyless is not standard.

Well keyless isn't written on it however he said he will ensure that it goes on with the admin dept tommorow and will email me.

In reference to the parking pack. On the order sheet it is written as :

"Parking pack -golf -gtd-gti" at £208.33 ex vat.

Any advice on this would be much appreciated.

Nice work on the discount, haven't seen anyone claiming to of bagged more.

In terms of the options, I can't offer any advice, just going by the brochure (which may well be wrong):

2017 GTi Clubsport arrived June 2017
2007 Shadow Blue GTi, sold on after 10 years ownership

Parking pack is not available on the club sport because it only has rear sensors, there is no options for front, let alone park assist. Rear camera alone is an option though.

Hmm. Now I am worried.evo- the dealer has picked the option and it shows on my order list as per my previous post. What is likely to happen in this situation?

Wanymygti. Yes I had seen the brochure. But he was adamant that if it could be picked then the factory would build it.

I reference to keyless entry, he should me the brochure which on the Clubsport section says "standard items above gti" from this you would assume that keyless would be standard. It's not very well worded if it isn't.

I have been off for a few days but back in on Thursday, so will have a play around.

With Keyless if it's not an option on his SLI ordering system then I would hope it's standard however it does clearly state it is an option on the club sport.

I know what he means when it refers to additional spec above a GTI however one should ever assume, especially if it's says it's an option.

Because lots of people will assume you get front sensors on the club sport however we know that you only get rears.

Thanks. I'm tempted to email and ask him to list the parking pack options seperatley. I don't want to pay for park assist if I can't get it. Also as keyless is an option I may ask for him to list that seperatley as well. What do you think? Thanks for all your help.

Ordered mine (after a long hard haggle) yesterday, 5th a Dealership that day

Be interesting to see how quick the 1000 sell out as going by that, and the fact every dealer gets a demo maybe a 1/3rd of the allocation has been booked already?

If the Mk8 is in production next year, will they have the capacity to bring more to the UK with all other countries as well?.
