Made a mess of my front wheel in the snow,
« on: 16 January 2016, 20:10 »
Hit a curb the other night flush on damaging the alloy (18" monza) also bust the lower arm but that's getting sorted, was in the market for some new alloys this has spurred me on, question is what are people's thoughts on replica 18" austins and the best place to get them.

Don't buy replicas too much risk imo.
But a set of genuine VW alloys like Barry has above or go aftermarket from a decent manufacturer.

If just deep scratches a refurb on one wheel will set you back about £100 - £120.
Mk6 GTI Carbon Grey, 2010 Bluetooth and voice fitted, a few VCDS mods still a comfortable family car. Red Scirocco 2011 twin charger stage 1 - enjoyable drive now gone.  White 2016 Polo GTI (roller skate on steroids) replaced with an Indium Grey 2019 7.5 GTI PP.
