Golf gti aum problems any help appreciated
« on: 12 January 2016, 09:10 »
after deleting n249 and n112 under inlet I'm having problems . My car will runs fine then if I boot it at about 4000rpm it cuts out and looses power then returning to idle it runs extremely lumpy with the vacuum bouncing around at probably 2/3 on boost gauge when usually it sits at 7 . I keep deleting my pending fault code of p0413 which is the Sai . Is this what's causing the problem ? If so how do I fix this ? I have also been told that I need to get some s3 injectors which I have just not fitted yet ? Is this a fueling problem because of the injectors ? I was told by Chris at cc tuning that I will need them as I will potentially burn mine out with the bhp I am pushing . My mods are as follows : fmic  2.5 " sports cat 3' down pipe n249 n112 delete silicone tip air filter . Any light on this is highly appreciated as I've changed the cam shaft sensor the maf sensor had a smoke test checked for cracks in vacuum pipes from inlet . The Sai is all still on the car not sure wether his makes a difference ? Thanks again

Hi,

What mileage you on and what power are you pushing?

I've got an AUM running all the same mods plus more and have no issues whatsoever with standard injectors on a Revo Stage 2 map?

If you're saying the issue only happens after performing the N249 & N112 delete then I would suggest this is the place to start. Did you keep the valves you need to keep orientated correctly? I'm fairly sure (even though it's been years since I did my delete) one of them is a one-way check valve.

Also the SAI code I believe gets thrown on start-up as part of the readiness checks, but probably indicates yours is goosed. I've been lucky with mine as have left as standard but I've heard of varying success of people removing it altogether and some having issues, others not. I always let mine run until its turns off (about a minute) before driving as it does tend to want to kangaroo a bit if I set off with it running.
