a nearly new 1

Why bother with a used one when you can have a new one (with brand new tyres etc) for a grand more and if you're PCPing you'll get that grand back through lower %APR on a new one than a used one.
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....

That's exactly why I changed my mind about buying a nearly new GTD, it doesn't make sense to buy nearly new when VW have the deposit contribution and much lower APR rate when buying new on PCP.................now I've just gotta find a dealer that doesn't wanna rip me off on my part ex or sell it privately which is hassle

That looks a good deal on the face of it. Being a registered car does it qualify for the £1250 finance contribution and £1000 loyalty bonus?

A drive the deal type discount with the additional 2 "bonus contributions" probably doesn't come out much different.

The immediate advantage is the car is available now, if you can't wait to order your own desired spec.

My understanding is that a pre reg car is a used vehicle and, as such, it will not be eligible for any of the offers associated with new vehicles. Also, the finance offered by Arnold Clark will not be the vwfs pcp product at 4.9% and you will probably be looking at either the expensive VW used finance prod cuts or some third party finance product supplied by Arnold Clark which could be cheaper than the typical VW used rates but not as cheap as the VW new pcp rate.

I'd say these cars are a good purchase for people who want that spec and have access to cheap personal finance.p through other means than the above.

I have emailed them to ask if they have five door ones as when I last looked they only seemed to have three door ones advertised on their website.

There were a few 5 door and some 3 door in recent weeks, some seemed to be pre mid 2015 spec.
