Not sure what else too use more of a deterrent than anything
not much you can do these days if they really want it chances are they will try anything to get it

Yeah your right. VW tried to get me to have a tracker fitted but tbh if it got nicked I wouldn't want it back I just want to prevent it from going if I can.
even a tracker can be rendered useless with a gps blocker that can be bought on ebay

That's not a disklok.
they use the same lock  same as the old u-lock for bikes that can be opened with a pen

The Disklok I use on my van is opened with a key, not one of those weird round keys that you use with a bike lock

I could be completely wrong but aren't most cars these days stolen with the keys? You might be better ensuring your home is protected properly.
My home is protected alarm cctv. My understanding is that thieves now don't need your key. They would much prefer to break into to car and code a new blank key via your OBD PORT.

As I had my GTI stolen in summer I now have a tracker, gap and disklok. It fits fine with the flat bottom wheel and probably just slows any potential scumbags down a little. That can only be a good thing.

All I now is that I've never had a vehicle stolen with one of these on. And I don't know anyone who has.
It's better than nothing at the end of the day and they're only £100.

Exactly my thinking they seem the best reviewed out there and when spending £30k on a car £100 isn't a lot at all. Sorry to hear you had yours stolen.

Hopefully sharing our experiences, both bad and good, contributes to the greater good!! I've got the storage bag and the wheel cover with the disklok which are both excellent.
