as the title suggests, I'm looking at getting and alarm and remote central locking for my mk3. I would like to know your opinions on the best option. would also like to fit it myself.

What kind of alarm?
With insurance rating?
If you just want to fit one then maybe go for Hawk....

I fitted the remote locking version of above without alarm to mine, alarms are overrated. Nobody gives a sh!t about them these days and everyone ignores them.
