I have already had Volkswagen customer services speak to a customer and tell them that they have to take delivery of a car by the end of March for the loyalty discount. So they will not guarantee the loyalty discount on a factory order because it might not arrive in time. It is part of the terms and condition of the offer.

On GTI/GTD 5 doors, dsg or manual are ok but DSG slightly more sought after. Colours Carbon grey, night blue, limestone, black.

Spec wise it's having something like leather and nav are a huge draw for dealers because it's rare to find on a GTI/GTD and people have almost come to expect it from a premium hatch.

Golf R DSG leather and nav is almost essential anything but white or red is desirable. If you have the 19's people want DCC.

My salesman has always been pretty dismissive of leather, a £1700 option that will return a £300 premium over cloth come p/x time. Maybe there are regional tastes at play, but at the end of the day if the difference between a fair few extras and one without is 20% of the RRP of those extras, I wouldn't be buying anything I didn't intend to use heavily myself. If my Golf fetched £1000 less than a fully loaded one, i'd consider that £3k saved rather than £1k lost.
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....

£1700 for leather(sorry I mean plastic) in a Golf is taking the piss.

Was planning on ordering a new GTD at the weekend but the £1250 contribution seems to have disappeared from the VW finance calculator? Hopefully it will return in the new year.

Has it been confirmed as a bona-fide offer rather than another VW website glitch only intended for the GTI?

Taken from the £1250 solutions offer page
"Offers are not available in conjunction with any other offer and may be varied or withdrawn at any time"
Does this mean you can't use it with the Loyalty £1000 offer ?

Has it been confirmed as a bona-fide offer rather than another VW website glitch only intended for the GTI?

DTD and Orangewheels are including it in their offers so I assume it's genuine.
The contribution is showing again in the online GTD finance calculator, must have been a glitch yesterday.
