£1250 dealer contribution on R & GTD now
« on: 30 December 2015, 13:42 »
I see VW have extended the £1250 dealer contribution from the GTI to the R & GTD if you buy using a PCP.
That plus £1000 loyalty bonus is not a bad offer at all.
If you add those savings to the broker price you can get a really good deal. if it can be registered before the end of March.

3dr R at £24,625

3dr GTD at £21,042  <--- thats a steal considering the equipment it comes with.

As said on previous post, that R price is really tempting....

Can anyone on here say they aid the PCP within the 14 day period to know serious pitfall

I'm trying to get my wife to agree her 2005 1.9 Jetta with 280k on the clock needs to be retired, however it won't bloody die. I service it every 5k miles and apart from needing a new clutch at 200k miles it's been amazing. The bodywork isn't looking too fresh thou!

Still haven't had a response from my favoured salesman at Pulman on behalf of my Dad, wonder how much a DTD supplying dealership would offer for my Dad's 38k miles 5 door DSG GTD (Jul 13)? Even a straight £15k and get the finance to clear in 14 days would result in a cost to change of £8300, which is more than acceptable to him for almost 3 years depreciation (come March).

If these 2 incentives aren't a one off, I can see the residuals taking a battering.
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....

The loyalty offer is on cars subject to delivery by the end of March so it will be a case of finding something in the pipeline because now it is touch and go whether a factory order will arrive in time.

We can't take factory orders and guarantee delivery before the end of March. It is a great time to buy a new Volkswagen but not such a great time to sell a used Volkswagen......

Having said that I nicely spec'd car in the right colour with the right number of doors will be sought after.

With Vw sales having been hit hard according to the latest SMMT data, I would be amazed if they turned a customer away on this deal if they were unable to fulfill their order quickly enough?  It seems their arrogance knows no bounds!?

evo1986, out of interest what is the right colour and right number of doors to be sought after? Is transmission important?
