Anyone sold there MK6 recently, what price you getting? (Private+Dealer)

Had rough prices for mine valued by dealer and what I personally think. Obviously I know I would be looking for more from a private sale etc..

Anyone like to take a rough stab at it?

I've just been offered 15.8K for my 2012 '12' ed35 with 37k miles which is £1k above cap valuation..

I got £13.5k Mcrae&dick ford dealers. GTI world offered £13k that was the diesel 12 plate that was 6 months ago. Prices for the MK6 seem to have shifted down and the early MK7s are looking around £18k at the dealers.

Yeah i noticed the mk7 prices slowly coming down now to which will obv push the mk6 down

What the dealer offers will depend on how much margin they have in the car you are trading in against. It's the cost to change that matters, not the 'what they give you' price, unless you are asking them to buy it from you.

Agree with that. Salesman always try get away from this whenever I have mentioned it. They always just try go back to "what's your monthly budget?"
