Smashing - good result for 3 hours work

Cheers Greerso. It was 3 hours well spent.  Took nearly as long to do photos and the thread.

In those 3 hours, I was pedaling through a 60 mile club ride, following a 48 mile one on Saturday.

Guess who still has 2 filthy cars on the drive  :embarrassed:
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Ah yes, you've sucuumbed to the social joy of the cycling club.

I'm sure you had more fun, and if the cars round your way are as grubby as you say then your cars will fit in nicely ;-)

Car looks very nice clean

However, Its one of my pet hates when I see writing on a car - hate to think somebody has scratched the paintwork

One of my pet hates too.  But, as mentioned in the other thread, my 9 year old daughter did it as a bit of fun (in cahoots with her dad), and they wouldn't have thought about that kind of thing.  So not about to start berating my child over what was intended as a lighthearted joke.  No harm done, no scratches and now they know not to do it again.

The Valet Pro Advanced Snow foam looks like it did an awesome job taking the worst off it!

It certainly did!  The Valet Pro Advanced is very effective.  Far and away the best snow foam I've tried (tried a few).

As the car was so filthy, I snow foamed it twice in quick succession with a blast of the jet washer in between. That shifted a surprising amount of muck, only the really stubborn dirt on the lower sides and boot remained, and the 2 bucket wash took care of that.  I did take the precaution of using 2 lambswool wash mitts this time, one for the upper sections and another for the dirtier lower sections to minimise the risk of swirls.  Did the trick.

Car is dirty again now.

It's a magical few hours/days when it's clean and detailed though!

Might get some of that snow foam as I've used all of mine.

That's true. Mind you even a bit dirty it still looks pretty good.

Which snow foam have you been using?
