Used R value.
« on: 19 December 2015, 10:13 »
Just a quicky to try and tap some of the knowledge avaliable on here-
I have found a 5 door R at a dealer (a main VW dealer but at one of their other brand franchises) its a March 14 (14 plate)in Ivory white, manual, 18,000 miles,19" Prets, larger sat nav, park assist, DAB radio, up for £23.999.  2 owners.

Is it the slight bargain I have been looking for do you think? I think its the cheapest one I have seen up to now.

Thanks for any input or thoughts!

Assuming the one above is the same car,the price looks about right and it looks good in the pics.I'd still try and get another £500 off as a starting point. As a buyer this is the best time of year as I'm sure you know.
Best colour for an R of course
Have you a PX or not?

The R does not have 'Park Assist' as an option so I would be questioning that claim....

^^^That's right.  Park Assist has never available on the R.  Ivory White? Oryx White I presume.

Yes,this is the same car.

Sorry my mistake, yes it will be Oryx white-interesting re the park assist,I suppose that's the thing with it being at a Mazda dealer, the detail might be slightly off. Mind you some of the VW dealers are not much better with their knowledge of the cars!

I do think white suits the R, although personally Cadiz look better than Prets on white.

Cheers, yes it needs to be a 5 door-I don't know why really, but I'm not keen on red 'R's either.

Sorry,I have just noticed the PX question, yes I have got a Mk6 Gti which I had hoped to keep for a bit longer term, but the chocolate chain tensioner is making me a bit twitchy and I am at the stage where I don't know whether to get shut or not.
