Newbie with Edition 30

Hi All,

Thought I'd introduce myself - Just picked up a 57 Edition 30 DSG last week so the mandatory thing would be to get on the owners forum! Was looking at Focus ST's until a manager at work said he's selling his before he heads abroad to work. Glad I went with the GTI.

Very impressed with the car. Hoping to do a thorough clean up when the weather permits (clay, polish, seal), hopefully next weekend. For now here's the car after a quick wash.

I look forward to speaking to other members and would love to go to a meet next year.

Thanks mate.

Yeah I test drove the ST and the engine noise from the 5 cylinders is addictive. I admit the GTI's standard sound isn't as exciting as standard but overall the car suits me better, particularly the way it feels on the road and better MPG considering on my 50 mile round commute every day!
