Opinions on New Wheels
« on: 11 December 2015, 12:56 »
So I've finnally gave up on looking for a set of Prets for the R, so gonna get a set of 19' BBS CH-Rs instead, hope to order today.
I actually phoned to order a set of Glosss Antracite this morning but there now all sold , so my 2 options are:
Satin Anthracite or Brilliant Silver (Both of which have a stainless lip protector thingy)

I'm rather undecided and need some opinions on what would look best on a 3 Door Red R :undecided:

Cheers

They look far nicer than Prets in my opinion.
I think the darker wheels have a bit more about them.
Question....are they genuine BBS alloys?
If not, I wouldn't bother.

Really like the style of the wheels but asking which one we all like just opens it up to personal preference and it will just come back full circle to you to decide for self

But we all like this kinda thing to, and for me its the Satin Anthracite every time on this type of spoke wheel.

No but I just found an eBay seller in Germany selling them for the same price  , clicky click get them ordered.
Now just to source my own tyres, are Toyo T1 Sports any good ?

The darker definitely do it for me.

Whilst mine's white, (and a GTI) I'm sure it gives you an idea of darker wheels on a Mk7 Golf...

Can't remember the exact name but is the German ebay seller Reifen (can't remember the last name) - the contact I had was a bloke called Stefan who was very helpful and spoke beeter than average english. If so, they were spot on with me.

Edit - let me know if the photo worked as I can't see it from work.
2014 Golf GTI (PP) in Pure White with
Vienna Leather, Keyless Entry, High Beam Assist, Park Assist, Rear View Camera. Milltek Exhaust, Eibach Sportlines, 19" BBS SR wheels - SOLD!!!!!

2018 Audi TTRS in Nardo Grey with
Black pack, 20" Alloys, Privacy glass and Sports Exhaust. No mods yet!
