I'm considering changing my GTI order and adding the tech pack.
I really fancy the Dynaudio system and for another £600 or so it seems mad not to have the Discover Pro as well.
Is it a worthwhile upgrade from the standard navigation or should I just spec the dynaudio on its own and save the £600 ?

If you use Nav a lot, then yes.

If you only drive your car to the same place every day, I'd not bother.

I don't use nav a lot but is worth paying £600 to make your dashboard look a bit cooler

It does make it look better & maybe help with resale?

That's what I was thinking also.
I wouldn't like to give it a miss only to regret it later.

After much deliberation I've decided to give the Discover Pro a miss and have just added the Dynaudio pack on it's own.
It's hard to justify spending £600/£700 to have a larger display,3D graphics, and a DVD player I will literally never use.
I hardly ever use a satnav as it is so simply having a built in unit is a bonus on it's own.
I'll probably spend the money I save on a new computer ( yes, that's how much they charge for a big screen satnav!! )
