Hi guys, the dealer where i am buying my used GTD is willing to replace the front tyres as part of the deal. I told them i didn't want the bridgstones so they offered me either pirelli pzero or the michelin ps3. Which ones would you recommend out of the two?

Moving to Michelin PS3 was a transformation really and you wise to get these done at the outset as most of us had to wait till first change before realising just how much the Bridgestone were affecting performance and way you drove the car in feathering the acceleration to offset the loss of traction on wet pull away.
Its now only under heavy acceleration in wet do you feel there is spin and even if you do get the yellow light you really not have much feeling of lost momentum or in Bridgestone case standing still!
Not sure about tyres you mention as a comparison but can certainly vouch for the PS3.

P Zero wore very quickly on my GTD. They didn't offer amazing grip either to be fair, the Dunlops I replaced them with were a lot better.

I would go with the Michelin,i have the pirelli p zero's on my golf GTI PP which my wife drives 99% of the time and they are wearing very quickly, we will be lucky to get 8000 miles out of them.
