So this might sound like a stupid question, however it is a question I would like an answer to. Basically the discs on my car are starting to wear a bit thin. But I would also like to fit rims that have a 5x120 stud pattern. So I was wondering whether it would be possible to fit discs that use this pattern or would I use an adapter on a new set of 5x100 stud pattern (stock discs) in order to fit them.

You'd also have to change the hub, though there are no 5x120 hubs for a mk3.... so fit original discs and then put adapters on.

Ah ok, I had suspected that but was a bit unsure. Thanks for clearing that up
