Back in a GTi
« on: 07 November 2015, 21:42 »
Owned various VW's since mid 90's. I'm just about to match my total of 3 Corrado's by getting my 3rd Golf.  I had a brand new Mk4 Golf GTi 1.8T from 1999-2005 before switching to Audi TT's (Mk1 then Mk2) and then a Porsche 911 which I still own.  I owned a Corrado VR6 Storm as a 2nd/3rd car from 2009 to 2015 and sold it earlier this year for what I bought it for.
Bought a Mk6 Golf GT TSi for my daily commute last year to save my 911 for weekends but with so much stop, start commuting I felt the need for an auto.  Hence changing from this into a Mk7 Golf GTi PP with DSG this coming weekend - it's 1 year old with 9,000 miles on the clock so it's taken it's first hit of depreciation
Daily: Mk7.5 GTi PP DSG, Weekend: 911 997 Gen 2 Carrera 4S
