suspension stopping thingies

right, im movin away soon and im takin everything i can in my golf on the ferry. Now i know iv heard of things that stop the suspension dropping too much but i dont know what the hell theyre called, how the hell they fit or where the hell to get them!

can anyone shed a little light on this for me as i dont want to bugger everything up when i get on and off the ferry! im already lowered 40mil on 17s if this makes anf difference!?!

thats the best mk3 ive seen..ever! its just clean and subtle.. :cool:

not sure if the same thing but halfords sell spring assistors, plastic thigns that go inbetween the spring coils

that might be them, just dont want the arse end of my car to drag along the ground all the way!

Will they do that?

Not sure but name suggests so i just remember seeing them in the ripspeed bay, i can look tomorrow when im in. However being lowered it might not be as easy getting them inbetween coils like on standard springs
