colour coded mirrors

1990 Atlas Grey 16valver - what do you rekon to colour coding the wing mirrors??

Do you reckon it will look OK?

defo do it! its an easy job, all you need is some fine sand paper, plastic primer, your colour paint and some clear laquar!  :smiley:

has it got to be plastic primer?? Nearly picked it up but just got std primer as I needed that also??

Will get plastic primer if I must though!!!

yeah get plastic primer or it'll soon fall off. key the plastic first as well and wipe over with white spirit before you start.....

if its a 2 piece window fit mk1 wing mirrors, done it to mine, looks nice but view is not great though, probably not wise if its a daily driver

yeah defo has to plastic primer, it flex's with the plastic when it gets hot and cold, where as the normal stuff doesnt so in the end it will crack and start to flake off like joe says!  :smiley:
