OK, so....

1. It's not being sold through the VW dealership network, it's a Vauxhall dealership, price will only be a grand more than an optimistic private price.
2. It's Northern Ireland, cars don't hold their value there as well as they do on the GB mainland.
3. It's a GTI - the GTI has the heaviest expected depreciation of the performance Golfs.

Even so, with GFVs around the £13k mark at 3 years old, someone probably got at least £16k p/x for it, from a Vauxhall dealership, in Northern Ireland.

Still haven't seen a 15 plate basic R with reasonable mileage for pennies less than £27k.

I'm still finding it hard to believe that 1 year old Rs are being traded in for between £20-22k
Anyone I've spoken to has got at least £25-26k for theirs

Yep fair enough like i said it was just a very quick search
As far as the R 15 plate less than 27k, Im going to search my emails as i got sent a personal video of the car  i nearly bought last week, its got £25980 in the window and i coulad have had 24.5k. i don't know if i can sort it as im no wizz kid

By the way how much do you think your car is worth in straight talking world of cash ?
