Arrrrrrrhhhhhhhhh. Why can't people edit their quotes when there are loads of pictures in them that we have already seem further up the page???    And breathe

They do it because they know it drives you wild.

I'm tempted to just repost the quote myself just to annoy you, but because I'm nice and I like you, I won't.

Is there even any comments added as I can't see any just the whole post re-posted?

@ Bec looks fantastic. Also looks like you've just cost me a few more shekels
Not that I'm penny pinching as they are reasonably priced but I wonder how much the Skoda / Seat / Audi equivalent costs as sometimes they can be had cheaper!

Yeah, just seems to be the pics re-posted.

Thanks Steven, it's simple but effective little tweak. You may well be right, Skoda etc could be a few pounds cheaper. I never thought of that.  What colour LED are you going to go for in your GTD?

JB you are a top man.  Thanks very much. Did you screw the footplate in?  Does trim need removing?

I've just ordered some Bosch Aerotwin wiper blades too as after 3 days of rain, the OEM wipers have displayed a tendency to miss bits of the windscreen. Not terrible but Bosch are more reliable.

Still looking for some Paddles/extensions to catch my eye.   You come across any others that take your fancy yet? (Aside from the Audi RS ones that won't fit).

One torx screw to undo push the old footrest towards the bulkhead at it will come off. You will then see that there are a couple of locating lugs underneath that keep it secure. Be careful with the new one as the lugs are a little tight and might needs a little bit shaving off them otherwise they could snap off when you try to pull it back into place. Otherwise the quality is superb.
As for the paddles. No, lost interest when it became apparent the Audi ones wouldn't fit. I haven't seen any others that I like and I don't think the stick on ones would be up to the job long term  :undecided:

Not sure re colour. Probably just get red and blue as see what I prefer. Although I do really like blue LEDs and have a few around the house. Great for highlighting areas.

Or I could just order these and have all 3 in 1

Not

  Mmm, lovely if you're driving a mobile disco.

Having had red and now blue, I prefer the blue. Obviously red was right for the GTI, but I think the blue looks better, and even though it's a cool colour, it still adds more warmth than the white which is too sterile.

Cheap and cheerful mod!  Look forward to seeing yours when it's done.

Ah, prefect, thanks so much.

I've not seen anything either paddle wise, the long ones are not to my taste, look a bit flimsy and chavvy. Will keep looking.
