Boost leak
« on: 02 October 2015, 18:59 »
Hi,
I've got a boost leak which sounds like it is coming from the Turbo outlet pipe, but I've taken that off and changed the o rings and there is no damage to them. I've checked all other connections and they seem fine.
Any ideas, I'll try and get a video uploaded! Thanks for any help

Have you checked both sid of the inter-cooler? Also have you checked all the air intake seals. They often make a similar noise.

And lastly, when was the last time you checked / changed your DV? and what revision do you have?

Found the problem! Was the v band clamp holding the turbine to the compressor on the turbo! Must of been cracked letting them separate a little, it snapped the other day and all is sorted with a new clamp!

Thanks for the reply
